He Never Fails

Chancy is not as active as he was when he was younger. I try to get some good photos of him when he is out and about but he does not like my planned photo shoots.

When he sees me with the camera he turns his head and ignores me when I call him.

He never fails to give me the 'stink eye' to try to make me and that camera go away. But sometimes I out wait him and get a nice one.

After several minutes of waiting he finally posed for me...then I went away. He was so happy he ran around the yard with his tail wagging in the breeze.

When he is working in his garden I try to get photos but he shows me his backside. lol I will keep trying and maybe one day I will get lucky.

  1. that last POSE made me laugh out loud. he looks PROUD of himself. I love the others to and have the same thing with Big, I have dozens of hind end shots and turned head shots. he is getting better but I still have to sneak with the long zoom lens.

  3. I think you got some amazing shots of Chancy. He looks so handsome and proud. I could never get a decent shot of my barn cats either. They were so curious they would come right up to the camera and never stopped moving.
I hope you're having some good weather for Chancy to run around outdoors.
    Hugs, Julia

    1. Thank you. We were having rain almost every day for weeks but now we have heat and humidity. Chancy and I still go outside a few times every day. We enjoy getting to be out with no rain.

    1. When he was younger he would pose for me and didn't mind the camera but in the last 3 years or so he wants it HIS way. lol

  6. Perhaps a recording instead, with the camera propped up so you aren't holding it. He may not even notice and you could get some wonderful footage.
