Two Favorites

Chancy on the bed getting ready to take a nap with two of his favorite things.

He loves for me to play football with him and cheer when he makes what I call a 'touchdown'. His Dakota dog is his best buddy.

Since we have had so much rain and many areas are still flooded in our state the mosquitoes are beyond terrible. We have not been able to stay outside for long because of them swarming us...so he spends lots of time napping with his favorite things.

Speaking of mosquitoes, have you seen the commercial for one of the flea and tick prevention medications where the dog looks like he is howling the word "mosquitoes" ? I laugh out loud every time I see it and some days lately I have needed a good laugh.

Hoping you all have had a good week and you will enjoy the weekend.

Hugs to all and Chancy sends nose kisses.

  6. That commercial is hilarious! Chancy is so precious with his favorite toys on the bed. Theo spends most of his day indoors too - just too hot and too many bugs! That is cute that you cheer when Chancy makes a touchdown. I hope your day will be blessed. Sending hugs and love to you. xo

    1. I agree about the commercial it sure makes me laugh. Hot, humid and lots of bugs here too. When Chancy gets the ball after I throw it is when I say "touchdown" he runs to me with the ball and you should see that little tail it looks as if it would wag off. lol There are always blessings in every day and I am so grateful for them. Love and hugs

  7. We're receiving just the right amount of rain, I think, which is unusual for, well, anywhere. I hope this email finds relief coming your way.

I wanted as well to thank you for your kind sympathies upon my Parker's death. That was thoughtful of you, and much appreciated.

  11. our Walmart is 3 miles from our home, we have 5 of them, all under 7 miles from us. all open 24/7 365 days a year. my son and his wife shop at midnight, i shop at 6:30 am but only because the deli doesn't open til 7. i would shop at 5 am every week if i did not need to get bob's lunch meat for the week from the deli

    1. That is a lot of Walmarts near you. There are 3 within 12 miles of me. If I had someone to go with me I would go to Walmart more often. I only go there when I am in the area to do something else and need a few things, that happens maybe once a year or once every 2 to 3 years. It is a great place to go walk and I would do that every day if I could feel safe doing so,

  12. I use Walmart to walk and add to my steps. Just doing some shopping and parking at the opposite end far away in the parking lot. I saw that commercial and it is a good one! Made me smile too. By the way, found some decent good tasting strawberries in the grocery store today. FIRST time this year Made me a smoothie, Enjoyed every drop. XX to you and Chancy.

    1. I used to do that at Walmart too but now too much crime and other stuff happening so don't feel comfortable or safe at any of them around me. I do walk the whole store of the little grocery store where I shop. Yummy strawberries I bet the smoothie was sooooo good. Hugs and nose kisses for you and Katie.
